Alex Culp
NCIG Program Manager
Alex grew up in Sonoma County where he played sports all year round and fell in love with being outdoors. He was always on the move, playing soccer, basketball, rugby, golf, and swimming competitively.
During the summer months he started following his grandfather around the golf course, driving the cart, cleaning his clubs, and learning the rules while in Lake Tahoe. He took his first lesson at Tahoe City Golf Course at the age of ten and was hooked. He played a lot of golf through high school and his early 20’s before taking a long break from the game while living and working in the cold Midwest.
After returning to San Francisco in 2015 he returned to the game and enjoyed being able to play all year round. He has been at the NCIG for five years helping to curate the curriculum and drive our students’ progress via easy to navigate step by step programming and helping to get them into the best equipment for their game.
